About Molly

Molly Ann McKeefery received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Therapy from Beaver College/Arcadia University where her coursework consisted of Fine Art/Studio Art, Art Therapy, Psychology, Education, and Liberal Arts classes.  She began her Master's Degree in Student Personnel Services from Rowan University just before receiving her Teacher of Art NJ Certification for grades Kindergarten-12 in 2007.

She worked full time in the mental health field for ten years, helping children and families develop and achieve their personal goals through art therapy and counseling.  After leaving her position as Program Coordinator for a large agency, Molly developed a series of book-based art lessons for preschool and school aged students.  Later, she added jewelry making classes and held workshops for non-profit groups and taught private classes at venues in Cape May County and Atlantic County.  Molly was contracted by Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ to develop their art program and teach art at their "Kids Kamps" for many summers.

"Art has always been a part of my life...from the holiday crafts I did as a child, the bead-making hobby I fell in love with as a tween, to the graphic art I experienced as a teenager, and the fine-art I practiced in college, I have always tried new things.  Art and creative expression were always something positive and healthy that I truly enjoyed . In my work, and in my practice, my goal is to share this passion and create an opportunity for others to have these experiences.

Every day, I live my life 'For The Love of Art'."
